We are thrilled to announce LaVon Van Williams, Jr.’s long awaited return to the gallery for his first show in Florida since 2018! Join us for the opening reception, meet the artist, and take in debut of I Want to Choose My Seat and Sit Down – New Carved Work.
Busy at work in his Lexington, Kentucky studio, LaVon chisels away at wooden slabs to reveal a dynamic range of subject matter – ancestral histories, Black culture and excellence, pop culture icons, jazz clubs, and so much more. His work spans multiple decades and continues to serve deeply heartfelt visual commentary.
