A Visit with Cornbread

On a recent family trip to Central Florida, Cornbread visited the gallery to escape the heat and crowds of the attractions. While his family frolicked at the water park, we were graced with some quality time with one of folk art's icons.

Of course he had a trunk full of fresh art and so our walls are popping with those customary oversized eyeballs that he favors. And Jeanine also got to share part of her father's collection of knives with him. Cornbread is a connoisseur of sorts and always has a knife handy for whittling....even in a fancy hotel room!

While he was here, Cornbread got to enjoy some local flavor - fried chicken at the Colonial Room and an orange Nehi from our classic old Coca-Cola cooler. Come back soon!
